The Shellback Tactical Level IIIA Soft Armor Cummerbund Inserts (Model CLCIIIA) are designed to provide side ballistic protection for plate carriers and armor vests. These lightweight ballistic inserts fit inside the cummerbund pockets to add level IIIA threat protection for vulnerable side torso areas. Excellent soft armor addition to the rifle plate carrier. Easily fit the cummerbund on my older Shellback carrier. The armor actually helps to firm up the entire carrier without making it too rigid. Again, an excellent product.
