The Shellback Tactical Level IIIA Model CLCIIIA Soft Armor Plate Backers provide level IIIA ballistic protection while maintaining a lightweight and low-profile design. Built with 100% woven aramid fibers and engineered for modern plate carriers, these soft armor inserts are NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIA certified and listed on the NIJ Compliant Products List.
These plate backers can be worn in a stand alone configuration with provides level IIIA handgun protection or worn with in conjunction hard plats which provides rifle threat protection. The SAPI cut shape ensures compatibility with most plate carriers on the market including military issued carriers. Each set includes two soft armor backers and is available in four standard ESAPI sizes. The heat sealed ripstop cover provides durability and water resistance in demanding operational environments. Soft Armor Panels
They Fit my Exquisite Shellback Tack Tactical Elite 3.0 Plate Carrier with No difficulty. It is a Tght fit, no bouncing around or movement of either hard plate or soft armor panel, level of comfort is excellent. I blieve this Combination of Hard & Soft armor with pouches for Drum magazines is the best fit ofr any user.

UNBEATABLE
I got this set to swap out my ceramic plates for light duty. They fit my carrier perfectly, are well made and comfortable. I really like dealing with Shellback. First, Shellback service is superb. Ken just handles things and is way more than helpful. UPS jacked up a shipment and he squared things away in a 5 min call. Lead times are non existant. Shellback talks about SHIPPING not lead times. I have checked with another supplier that has a 2-3 week delay in shipping for IN STOCK items and 6 weeks for other items. Useless. Order with Shellback and your items are MOVING twords you almost instantaneously. Their guaranty is simple clear and comforting. I wish they had 11x14 Banshee carriers but my 10x12 is world class.

Perfect Fit
The cummerbund inserts fit snugly into my Banshee Elite plate carrier and provide Level III protection between the front and side plates. You need these.

Really great quality for the price.
I purchased my original Banshee several years ago, and ended up getting soft armor from an after-market armor producer. It did the job, but when it expired I replaced it with the Shellback armor package. The soft armor from Shellback was thicker and seemed to be of much better quality than the one I had. It is still as light as what I had, but overall it just seems to be made better. I feel more comfortable using this with my plates, and when this expires I will replace it again with the Shellback package. Overall, very satisfied and highly recommend.
