High Cut Helmet Size and Weights
- Circumference is measured around head, similar to hat sizing. All sizes are measured in inches.
- Start with a measuring tape (or a piece of string you can measure later), and wrap it around your head. Place the tape where your helmet will typically sit at the middle of your forehead and about 1/8" above your ear. Hold the tape firmly, but not uncomfortably tight. Find your size using the chart below.
- If a measurement falls on a dividing line between sizes, select the larger of the two sizes.

High Cut ACH helmet
Received my helmet in excellent condition, well packaged. Quality of the lid appears to be top notch. The helmet seems to be a bit large relative to the listed measurements for sizing, so I'll have to make some adjustments to it's padding. No big deal. A nice item to have for occasional use as a first responder.

ACH HIGH CUT
The helmet shipped quickly and arrived as advertised. The quality and finish is top notch. My head circumference put me on the dividing line of L and XL shell size. The helmet comes with 3/4" pads and as such fits my head very sloppy. It has forced me to spend extra money on top of the purchase of a new helmet and leaves me with pads that I cannot use. This is why the review is only 3/5 stars. The sizing instructions provided by Shellback Tactical did not account for variations in head size or offer a solution.

Great Price for a Ballistic Helmet
Every time we buy a helmet from a company we haven't worked with we take it to the range and shoot it. The helmet performed better than expected, survived direct hits at 7 yards from all our handguns and we couldn't be happier. These are great helmets at a great price.

Great shell for the money.
Just purchase this billistac helmet about a week ago. Great helmet for the price cheaper than other website for the same company brand helmet. The helmet was nicely packaged received undamaged quality looked great. I would recommend this helmet to anybody who wants a billastic helmet you will not be disappointed.

Good bargain
I don’t pretend to be an expert or even a novice on things tactical or combat related, but I am particular about purchases, and I’m satisfied with this purchase. It was discouraging to see so many comparable products at such a higher price, so I jumped on this one when I found it. I have no intention of going out and testing it’s integrity, so I will just have to trust that it will do what it’s supposed to do, but it seems to be of decent quality and I’m happy with its weight and fit. I’m sure there are superior products available, but for someone like myself on a budget, it’s a good buy. I hope to God I never actually have to use it, but we live in interesting times.

For the price, pretty good
Crazy fast order filling and shipping on this helmet. Thanks guys! Just received it, so I have only adjusted it, no real time in it. I may or may not be typing this review with it on. The pads seem decent, shell looks like good quality. The harness is going to be switched out, very soon. Not a fan. After I do some time with it on, Ill figure out if any more changes need to be made. Overall, great for the price.

Good investment
Reviewing a balistic helmet... hopefully will never really have the opportunity to. CS is on point. Had helmet in maybe two days, standard shipping. Padding is very comfortable. Would be nice if it included a thinner pad set to more customize fit. Have not logged hrs sweeting in helmet yet so we'll see how things hold up, but I have no reason to think there will be problems. Harness holds/rides very well. You can fit a standard sordin msa's under the helmet by adjusting padding. (So you can run a single set of ear pro independently when bucket isnt needed or wanted.) Solid piece of gear at a very good price point for those of us who don't need $800-1000 helmets.
