SF Helmet Size and Weights
- Circumference is measured around head, similar to hat sizing. All sizes are measured in inches.
- Start with a measuring tape (or a piece of string you can measure later), and wrap it around your head. Place the tape where your helmet will typically sit at the middle of your forehead and about 1/8" above your ear. Hold the tape firmly, but not uncomfortably tight. Find your size using the chart below.
- If a measurement falls on a dividing line between sizes, select the larger of the two sizes.
| HELMET SIZE | HAT SIZE | HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE | SHELL WEIGHT | TOTAL WEIGHT |
| Small | 6 5/8 to 6 3/4 | 21.1" to 21.9" | 2.5 lbs | 3.0 lbs |
| Medium | 6 3/4 to 7 1/8 | 21.9" to 27.7" | 2.6 lbs | 3.1 lbs |
| Large | 7 1/4 to 7 1/2 | 22.7" to 24" | 2.7 lbs | 3.2 lbs |
| Xlarge | 7 1/2 to 7 7/8 | 24" to 26" | 2.9 lbs | 3.4 lbs |

modular tactical helmet system
With rails, loop panels, and bungee retention, this helmet supports full customization for accessories and gear. I put lights on the ARC rails and GO pro in the nvg shroud.

Issued before deployment
We were issued these before deployment. I personally bought one as well. I highly recommend.

Good bang for your buck
Price is good. The ratchet dial harness lets you get the perfect fit. Shroud and Arc rails are perfect for attachments. I recommend this product.
-

SF Helmet
So far I’m very impressed. Very lightweight and comfortable. Pads are ultra soft and the retention is extremely comfortable. My only complaint is that it is very big. I followed the size guide, and ordered an XL, which was the recommended size, but it fits very loose. The retention dial does help, but it’s still a little big. I would have been good with a LG. Other than that, great product and I’m very happy with it.

Great purchase
I have worn many different manufacturers of tactical helmets both in military and civilian use to include ACHs and Ops Core. This helmet is very comfortable right out of the box and stays in place with the harness when having NVGs attached. I would not hesitate to recommend this helmet to anyone looking for ballistic helmets.

AWSOME HELMET!!!
This is a VERY well made ballistic helmet. With the daunting task of finding a reputable ballistic helmet that is quality and at a great price, this helmet fit the bill!! Paint is very well done, padding is very good, the ratcheting system make this helmet fit like a glove! Some say on the "heavy side" but I've wore it for 10-12 hours training and after about a hour I forgot it was even there. Super good quality compared to others on the market, plus the cost is very fair. Granted, it may not be a USA made shell, it is still manufactured in Europe (people may criticize me but that's MILES better quality than ALL helmets made in Asia and I'd say probably better than US made helmets seeing first hand the lack of quality and care put into manufacturing here now days.) Made in a state of the art facility using the same ballistic fabrics and bonding agents as the US military and the top name helmet manufacturers. Helmet is painted, assembled, packaged, and shipped in the USA! If you're on the fence about this helmet, take the leap. I'm VERY pleased! Granted, I haven't been or plan on being shot in the head, but the quality alone gives me a solid piece of mine if/when that were to ever happen.
