This is my first plate carrier. I've heard good things about Shellback. But when I was installing my plates the stiching on the velcro on the back tore like wet paper... or it's really strong velcro. Took a closer look, all of the velcro is only single stitched. Would think it would be double or triple stitched for the level of quality claimed on this website, although this is a cheaper item. Certainly an area of opportunity for the product. I've only just contacted them to have it repaired or replaced; I'm hopeful they will take of it. Just a bummer to get a brand new carrier and have it fail directly out of the package. Overall, I don't have anything to compare it to, but it feels/fits well and looks decent... minus the thread pulling out. Color: tan Plates: level 4 ceramic 6'2 175lbs

As I search for the ideal vest - I bought this. It is too small for broad chested folks. However - the wife absolutely loves it and it fits her great. I mean really!

I’ve had it for a week now. I stuffed some RMA 1155’s into it, because the world is a crazy place right now. The weight of even those heavy plates are managed well by the design. The sewing and materials seem good to go. My only complaint is about the Velcro on the shoulder straps. I’m a very chesty 250lbs and only about the last inch of hook side engages with the loop side - the rest of the 6” tapes hang uselessly as extra at the ends of straps that were designed way too long. I’ve bought some more tape to sew on, where it will be useful, and I’ll likely shorten the straps a bit. After those couple changes, I think it’ll be good to go.

Ok, so I have to wear this just about every day at work. This is by far the most comfortable plate carrier I've had. It is easy to take on and off. It is also super comfortable and has zero bulk. Coworkers are jealous and I keep telling them to stop being cheap and just buy one. It's worth every penny.

I like it the few things I’ll criticize are that the website showed the vest as OD green with black cummerbund and shoulder straps... not a big deal I’ll just paint it. The shoulder straps look a bit flimsy until you put the vest on then you get it. Admittedly though double stitching would have been nice for peace of mind. I’m running lightweight poly plates or soft armor so I’m not to worried as supposed if someone were wearing ar500 steel.

On par with the Slickster and the quality is darn good. No issues inserting and accommodating the 10x12 plates. Shoulder straps were fine to adjust, I had plenty of hook & loop. Double-stitching would have been a nice to have but given that this is a "low-viz" and not "high intensity" vest...I think its OK.
Great product and great service from ShellbackTactical!

I love how concealable this rig is and still offers carriage for up to 4 AR mags, but the shoulder straps are way too long. Shortened them down to where I almost ran out of hook&loop and had to fold them over and electrical tape them. Not a hard fix and otherwise seems like a good rig. Also I wish the seams were double stitched but it hasn’t come apart so far......

Well made. Solid material. Nice Price.
My only complaint is that the shoulder straps are waaaay too long. When adjusting mine to be worn properly I am almost running out the hook and loop to secure the front and back shoulder straps to each other. I have about and inch of hook and loop connect to each other. I had to buy more hook and loop that I am going to have sewn in by a tailor.
Other than that I really like it.

Highly impressed with this carrier. High speed, low drag - a quick and low profile solution for armor, but maintains comfort.

I was drawn to this vest because I was already very pleased with the Banshee. This Stealth is incredibly comfortable and lightweight. I can place the plates exactly where I need them. Very pleased.
