I got this plate carrier on sale, picked lowest shipping option and it was SUPER fast to arrive. Fits great, I’m a smaller guy so I could see it being a bit small for larger fellows. The product arrived just as described and in record speed! I've had this carrier for a few months now and i really enjoy it! It feels great. It's not combersom in any way, shape, or form. It's comfortable, and very durable. The laser cut molle is fairly tight upon arrival so it's a slight bit difficule to attach things to it but like everything in life you just got to use it a bit and it'll be stretched out enough to fit your needs perfectly. I currently have a mag pouch and a dump pouch attached to mine and they aren't going anywhere. The carrier holds the plates very tightly and very well, the plates definitely will never fall out of the carrier no matter how much stress it put on it. When the "carry me buddy" strap on the back is yanked on by the force of 10 men it slightly ripped the seam on cover but that was very hard to do. All in all, i highly recommend this product, or any other carrier made by Shellback Tactical.

After I'd bought the shoulder pads that Shellback makes (and I loved them) I figured it was time I consider changing what the loadout of my Carrier would be, but I didn't have hundreds of spare dollars to spend. Enter the Shield. After considering my options, I chose this one for the more modular Molle setup. I was not disappointed when it arrived. My plates fit snugly inside the pockets and there was room for my cushions behind them besides (although I did have to make some adjustments to those.) It's incredibly comfortable to wear around and although I haven't made use of it in an operational environment, I have no doubt it would serve me well. Where it sits on your torso feels good and keeps your important bits covered. Great buy, especially for the price. I could wear this thing all day.

First off, the carrier is very well made. The stitching is good and the material is solid. The color is great as well. The laser cuts are precise and not the type to sag under weight from full mag pouches. The only down side to this carrier is the cummerbund. It’s super awkward and I had to loosen up the bungee cord all the way for it to reach all the way around and not have the massive hook n loop panels showing from behind the belly flap. I do NOT have a large gut in any way at all so I don’t know why it’s designed that way. To get the vest to fit properly, one of the cummerbund sides has to be pulled out showing the bungee cord in the back. Strange fitting cummerbund over all. I may just order a better fitting one from UARM to supplement this great looking vest.
