Great vest.
I purchased this vest for training outside of work and for the price, i couldnt pass it up. The 3D mesh on this vest is very pronounced and i even tested it with a fan and you will have no issues catching a breeze. The custom fitting on this thing is amazing. I showed my friend my vest, i wear a size Medium shirt and he is a 3x. I was still able to fit him in it. He was testing the length of the cummerbund but it worked. He is looking to buy one and get the XL cummerbund for it. Another thing is i love that the front panel clips on and off, made it too easy to put my Shellback M4 Sixpack on without fighting with the vest. Great gear, no issues and the company's customer service is awesome too.

Good carrier.... Fits just right

It works
Never owned a plate carrier before so I bought this one as it seemed to be in the middle in regard to quality and price when it came to other civilian carriers I considered. What you read about it being smaller in the other comments is true. I am a smaller guy (5'10" and 155 lbs) and it fits me fine, but I could see it being tighter on a bigger guy - but then again if you are too big to fit in a plate carrier you probably don't have the physical conditioning to really use one. The laser cut MOLLE is obviously a cheaper option, but it is slick and I have no concerns about its strength so far. The cummerbund does ride a little bit high but if you are wearing the vest correctly for the plates to cover your body adequately this is somewhat to be expected. I have been able to successfully use the front most cummerbund pouches for M4 mags, but getting them in and out of the pouches requires some flexibility and sometimes two hands. The other 2 rear most pouches are mostly inaccessible once the carrier is on. The vest fits a 10x12 plate just fine, no issues there. The adjustable shoulder pads are nice, I have run in the vest and its comfortable as far as comfort goes when strapping 20 pounds to your chest. The only qualm I have with this vest so far is that the shoulder straps in the front rub in between my front deltoid and peck leaving marks on my skin due to the straps being a more rigid material. So overall there is nothing really great about this plate carrier and there's nothing too terrible about it either.

First look
Well I didn’t get to wear the vest. Looks to be well made, I am 5ft 9in and 153 pounds and the vest it WAY to small. Will not hold soft armor (concealment/PD vest) only accepts plate style armor. Really wanted this vest to work if I was able to use the vest may have got a better review. Got for the same reason as most, for the AR mag carriers.

Slight Issues
This is overall a decent carrier. I was really excited to have mag pouches on the cummerbund but in reality they are not easy to get the magazines out when the carrier sits so high. I am only able to use the front most pouches on either side and the rest are pretty much useless. Also the retention bungees jab into my ribs because the knots tied on the inside are too large and stick out. The shoulder might be uncomfortable depending on your body size and type.

A bit small
I was looking for a carrier that could be run either slick or with placards. I chose the Rampage 2.0 because of the price and its smooth look. I will be using the carrier will instructing at a range, so I don't need a full loadout. When I got the carrier, I was surprised at how small it was. I'm 5'8"/220, so I know that I usually need to order things in the XL size. Well, the cummerbund isn't XL, barely seems like L. I let the elastic about 90% of the way out, and the cummerbund fits pretty well, but there is still about 1.5" of Velcro on either side of the front panel that does not attach. I know that I'm not askinny person, but I felt that this cummerbund was made for someone half my size. This would also be an issue for someone who had a huge chest/upper body from working out. The solution is pretty simple- let buyers have a choice of cummerbund sizes when they order the carrier. Instead of spending an extra $50-$200 for an aftermarket/replacement cummerbund and having a useless one hanging around, let us bigger people order what we need to begin with. Other than that, the carrier is well made and comfortable. I've got swimmer plates in mine, and they sit nicely in the pouches. The stitching is even and there are no loose threads. Overall, this is a great product, it just needs to come with a cummerbund sizing option.

for the little people
I’m on the shorter side which this plate carrier is perfect for if your below 6’ this is the carrier for you it’s minimalistic but modular I’m running this carrier with lvl 4 rma plates and esstac mag pouches this is perfect for shtf and you need to move

comferable but small
It is a lot smaller than I realized. It’s a comfortable plate carrier. But small. It is nearly impossible to use the built in mag pouches. Just a weird position. If you don’t have thinker plates it sits weird on your chest at least for me. It is really tough material. Well put together besides the mag pouches. I would like to try a different version of Shellback.
