Shellback Tactical SF Plate Carrier
The Shellback Tactical SF Plate Carrier is a combat ready plate carrier designed for the best outcome in the worst situations. Whether you're Overseas, Domestic, downrange or on the range, you can count on the SF Plate Carrier. Modular, Low Profile and feature packed. The SF Plate Carrier is sized by SAPI plate size to fulfill your unit needs. The most common size is Medium, which fits Medium SAPI size plates and 10x12 plates. Integrated padded 3D mesh shoulder pads provide comfort for load carriage. The interior body side is also lined with 3D mesh padding. The front Kangaroo pouch has an insert to accommodate 3 .223/5.56 magazines. The cummerbund also accepts soft armor inserts and has integrated pockets to accept 6x6 or 6x8 side plates as well. Integrated radio pouch will accommodate common LE radios and MBITR or can be used to add additional magazines on each side. Unique to the SF plate carrier cummerbund is our addition of 3D padded spacer mesh comfort flaps that pad your rib cage area for comfort while wearing side plates or without. The carrier is also highly adjustable on the shoulders and cummerbund for that perfect fit.

Comfortable and highly customizable
XL size multi cam- Fantastic! I'm former Army and this is way better the standard issue I had years ago. I picked up to attach a bunch of other pouches to for camping, hiking, survival ectara and even a low profile hydration rig from source tactical. I love the built in radio pockets, the side plate pockets and the triple 30 round 5.56 mag pouch also which has additional MOLLE for another triple pouch and can add a drop down hand warmer via Velcro. Very well built and the materials are rugged feeling.

Low quality control
Received my plate carrier with plates timely, shipping and ordering was fast and convenient. Once received, my optimizing and excitement for a new carrier and this company diminished. Not one seam from left to right or front to back on this PC we’re symetrical. Inconsistent seam cuts, seam sewing, not symetrical plate pockets. Just all around bad, I can’t find two consistent seams. I don’t trust this thing to last. Purchased new PC, didn’t expect to receive second quality. This PC doesn’t hold a candle next to my AR500 or my Crye. Not in the same league. I won’t be buying another shellback plate carrier. Shellback Response: Bret, my apologies for the issue on this order. We back all of plate carriers with a lifetime warranty against craftsmanship and usage. We are more than happy to replace the defective plate carrier with a brand new one or provide a full refund. We stand behind our gear and always will.

Nice Vest/questionable functionality
Very well built, love that it’s American made and the warranty, but there is a degree of difficulty getting this off and on (over your head), not feasible in a true emergency, needs a quick release function.

Just set of my SF Carrier and the weight difference is amazing! Should of switched it up long time ago!

Amazing
I have used this Carrier for my duty vest, and keep it in my Cruiser. This is a “bang for the buck” carrier. I also have the Rampage 3.0 and this is 10 fold the carrier I use more. It’s sleek, it’s sharp, it’s everything you need to use in LE or to Operate. 10/10 love this carrier and will absolutely buy another if I need it.
