This plate is NIJ 0101.06 certified and lighter weight than AR500 steel plates. Model AR1000 is designed to be thin (only .35 inches thick), coated with rhino extreme lining to prevent fragmentation spall and is very economical for military and law enforcement personnel. Very well made and very light . Love it .

Great product
Plates are normally 10 pounds each, so carrying 2 plates on a plate carrier is heavy. But for 2 plates that is 6.1 pounds each. Is much lighter. Not sure why it didn’t say prevail series in the front of the plate

Sturdy, thick, and tough.
A pair of these came in for my Rampage 2.0 PC which I had ordered with, came in quality packaging, wrapping, and felt like a reliable piece of equipment. Haven't been shot yet, but my impression of the armor is confident.

QUALITY YET UNDETERMINED
UPON INITIAL INSPECTION THE PLATES APPEAR GOOD-TO-GO. HOWEVER REALISTICALLY I WILL NOT KNOW HOW GOOD THEY ARE UNLESS I GET HIT AND THAT IS SOMETHING I TRY TO AVOID
