I wanted to start by saying that I really like the product—it appears well-built, lightweight, and exactly the kind of dependable gear I was looking for. However, I did not realize that the plate carrier I ordered comes in a small size. Given my build (6'0", 250 lbs), the fit is not ideal. That is the only reason they are getting a 4 star review.

As with all shellback Tactical products the carrier is well-made with excellent material materials.
Could put my plates a little better seems to have excess material. carrier is well-made with excellent material materials. some pockets would be nice, but remember this is entry-level play career.

Best value duty carrier
I bought a patriot plate carrier for my job as a range officer and so far it hasn't failed on me! the quality is great and the simple design allows me to attach my necessary pouches and allows me to still feel free and flexible and doesn't make me feel bulky. So good that some of my other coworkers are considering buying one for themselves! Good value plate carrier for duty use! Rugged and reliable

It's been about 3 years since I bought one for myself and after all the abuse I've put it through, I gotta say, it has held up nicely and is definitely one of the more comfortable plate carriers I've worn. So much so that after my brother said that he wanted a plate carrier for his birthday, I got him one as well which he enjoys thoroughly.

I'm a slim guy at 5'11 138lbs It fits very nicely. Although I wish the plate compartment was a bit larger. And the shoulder straps are way too long I had to pull them down to the chest velcro, great quality vest though.

Patrol/K9 Handler duty use
I wanted something lightweight to carry my soft armor and trauma pads, add my taser, med pouch and admin pouch. Keep it simple for K9 Handler duties. The Patriot fit the bill, a lot cooler than my previous PC, and comfortable even on 14-17 hour days. Would recommend to anyone wanting all day comfort but still maintaining a high degree of protection.

Great Plate Carrier
This plate carrier is an awesome purchase for the price. Built well, lots of standard features, and plenty of adjustability. It's fairly comfortable as well.
