The Shellback Tactical Flap Sac 2.0 Pouch is a versatile plate carrier dangler pouch designed to provide additional storage for mission-essential gear without adding unnecessary bulk. Built for military, law enforcement, and first responders, this pouch mounts securely beneath the front flap of most plate carriers using a hook-and-loop attachment system. Designed as a fanny-pack style add-on for armor carriers, the Flap Sac 2.0 allows operators to carry critical equipment such as multitools, medical supplies, batteries, gloves, or navigation gear while keeping items easily accessible during operations.
Constructed from durable 500-denier nylon, this lightweight pouch offers excellent durability in harsh operational environments while maintaining a streamlined profile that won’t interfere with mobility or weapon handling. The pouch also includes a rear pocket capable of accepting a soft armor insert, allowing users to upgrade the pouch with additional abdominal ballistic protection when paired with the Shellback Tactical Flap Sac Soft Armor Insert. Replay like this pouch
Got this in conjunction with the iiia insert and I really like it. Pairs well with my plate carrier, and it feels like good quality. Just hope I never have to have it tested!

Compatible with 5.11’s Prime Plate Carrier
I recently got a bare bones 5.11 prime plate carrier with not much on it but a lot of Velcro and thus a lot of potential. Since then I discovered shellback tactical have added a few of shellbacks offerings to augment the carrier’s capabilities. Shellbacks padded shoulder straps,triple mag placard attached with Velcro and buckles, all worked flawlessly with my carrier. This flapsac I am happy to report also is fully compatible, sticks right on top of my carrier in front position low as it should be, then if need be you can layer the mag placard from shellback on top of that without losing any stick surface because the “front” of the flapsac attachment area will bond with that Velcro as the vests base velcro would have. Holds my big ass phone which is impressive. Doesn’t sit too low for me so any flapping backwards while running even with a phone in it is mostly a non-issue for comfort concerns

Horizontally opposed zippers that was a nice touch.
One of my biggest grievances about having a bag/pouch that has two pouches with zippers next to each other is that you’re always confusing one zipper for the other. That is not a problem with this. There are two pockets with zippers right next to each other, but one zips left or right the other one zips right the left. There is no confusion, nice touch, This is the difference between buying a quality Product that’s intended to actually be used in the IRL, not LARPing on the airsoft field. And just a side-note: everything I’ve bought so far from Shellback has been spot on And I’m not one bit disappointed with Build quality or design.

This tactical pouch is one of the nicer ones of seen out on the market. The material it's made of is very strong and the zippered pockets have a lot of room. Would recommend if you intend to store medical stuff in it.

Excellent piece of gear. It is well made and the Velcro is strong. My current setup utilizes mag holsters on the front molle, and I plan to train with a hiking backpack. Putting a med kit/ IFAC on the plate carrier's side molle webbing got in the way of the backpack strap and my arm. This was a great solution to house auxiliary items, and it can fit right over top of the hip strap as well. The customer service at shellback is outstanding to say the least

For mature audiences only
At first I thought it would be weird to have a fanny pouch on my kit. But I guess I'm getting older (over 40) so I'm much more concerned now with utility than looking cool. Good quality and very convenient.
