Excellent Product and Stellar Staff
First I want to say everyone I have spoken to at Shellback Tactical is nothing but professional and helpful. The professionalism of their staff alone adds a star on the rating of the product. Oh and if their site shows an item in stock, once you place that order be looking for the shipped out email, these folks do not play around with shipping out their product. Now on to the plate carrier, love the carrier, love the size which if you are a medium size person or smaller, this carrier might not be for you just being honest, it is made for a large to 2 XL we have experimented with, will be trying it on a 3XL person soon to see if they can order this exact carrier. Pros: The cumberbund will adjust from large to 2XL already proven that, plus the availability for side plates with pouch kit, 6 integrated pockets with the bungee retention for magazines or radios puts this cumberbund on top of my list. The velcro retention and lace up adjustability of the cumberbund allows for excellent adjustability. The PALS on this carrier is also great, but on the front accessory / admin pouch there is a desperate need of additional vertical webbing which I will explain in the cons. Front accessory / admin pouch for storing small items. Rear accessory pouch for storing small items or you can use their recommended bladder. Should strap pads are very comfortable and really a huge factor on dispersing the load on your shoulders. Easy adjustability of the should straps, quick disconnect also. Manufacturing of the plate carrier seems to be solid, I have not found a seam or lose thread anywhere as of this time and had the carrier for over a month now. The armor plates will never fall out of this carrier, the plates load in from the bottom but with their velcro retention they are never coming out on their own. Cons: The front accessory / admin pouch needs three additional rows of PALS added vertically to match the two rolls of horizontal with velcro on them to it for a knife sheath for example, which the addition webbing installed vertically is a wish item for my customization and does not hinder this carrier. I am roughly 1 inch short on the proper placement for the height I prefer " my vitals are covered but I like my carriers just a little bit higher especially if a threat from an elevated shooter" and cannot achieve that due to the shoulder pads conflicting This is the only two things I can find on this plate carrier that I can suggest improvement on. 5 Star rating for this plate carrier 5 Star for Shellback's staff.

Great Value and FAST Shipping
I would give Shellback Tactical 10 Stars if I could. Communication was clear, shipping was fast (of course I verified that all products were in stock first) and the carrier (Banshee 2.0) and armor (level iv) are great quality. I was debating on going with another brand but the customer service and armor certifications that Shellback offer sold me. Two thumbs up!

great setup. just a few things
I love the setup this Carrier comes with. Only 2 gripes, yet still a 4/5 because the only thing I have to compare it to is standard issue military and the only thing I liked about that was how fast I could remove it. 1. The top straps... I love the fact of the pads and all... in not super wide from front to back and it seems I’m having an issue getting the carrier up as high as it should be on my body (3rd vertebrae in the back and just below the Trachea). I may have to remove the pads. Unsure yet though. 2. On/off... the Velcro’ is AWESOME on this product. And I don’t like because of the 3 way Velcro, I’m not sure if I wanted to keep peeling it apart to put on or if I just want to go over-head with it. I figure if I’m just putting it on for a short time I will go over head. If I ever need to be fast with removal, then I can undo the Velcro and top straps... but overall it is difficult to put on and take off over-head. It is a slimmer fit then I expected but has plenty of room to fit the body once on. Still some more experimenting to do with on/off and it’s definately only a “to my comfort thing” and a personal choice. Last thing. Not to say I don’t know how to use a vest, but a little Brochure With pictures to explain the differences about things like what each strap is used for would be helpful. My buddy has one of these carries (where i realized i like this carrier a lot) and had to ask me about the clips on the side and the usefulness of them since the vest has a cumber already.

ultimate comfort
One of the best fitting plate carriers I've used very simple to adjust at all points, super quick release system, quality materials and so many pockets, what's not to love? Been wearing it since it arrived earlier today with full plates and If I couldn't see it I would probably forget I was wearing it! Shipping was extremely fast as well, ordered April 24th 9:00pm arrived April 29th 2:30pm. 10/10 would get one in every color if I could lmao.

The plate carrier is extremely well made, spent weeks doing research and went with Shellback and I’m extremely glad I did. Ordered on Sunday, arrived on Tuesday. If your looking for top notch quality look no further.
