Patrol Max Placard for Plate Carriers and Vests
When your mission changes, your gear should adapt just as fast. The Shellback Tactical Patrol Max Placard was designed to give law enforcement officers, military personnel, and prepared citizens a flexible front panel that delivers reliability without compromise. Built from heavy duty Squadron nylon, this placard locks into your carrier with QASM buckles and hook backing for a secure fit you can trust in the field.
The Patrol Max is loaded with smart features that keep your essentials within easy reach. The triple M4 magazine pouches not only hold your mags securely with bungee retention but also fit most duty radios when your comms matter more than extra ammo. Two additional pistol mag pouches let you carry backup magazines or multitools.
On the front, you’ll find a full admin pouch with organizers, fold outs, and a clear ID window. Behind it, dedicated storage for your cell phone and pens makes it easy to keep critical items close at hand. A built in elastic loop at the bottom is perfect for stowing a tourniquet where you can reach it instantly. The adjustable side pouch can be mounted on either side and holds OC spray, a flashlight, or any tool you rely on during a shift.
The Patrol Max is more than just storage — it’s a modular solution. Whether you’re running a plate carrier or a chest rig, this placard integrates seamlessly, letting you customize your loadout without overhauling your entire kit. Backed by a lifetime warranty and proudly made in the USA, the Patrol Max Placard is built to serve those who serve.

Put on Crye JPC
Hooked it up to my Crye JPC. Has everything you need except to chase bad guys. Only thing missing is a dildo pouch.

Switched from HRT
Switched from HRT. If you want a no-BS placard, this is it. Tough material, clean layout, and super easy install. Makes my carrier way better. Worth it

Gets the job done
Love Shellback. Worn it do 15 years. Build quality is legit and it feels ready for real use. Mags stay put but still pull smooth. Keeps everything right where I want it. Would buy again.

Love it
This placard is money. Easy to mount, easy to grab mags. Nothing shifts or flops around. Zero complaints.

Custom pouch
This placard adds a ton of usable space up front and holds mags snug with adjustable retention. Felt super solid and rugged right out of the box. Attachment was quick with the buckles and hook backing. Makes organizing gear way easier

Duty Vest upgrade
I use it every day on duty. The quality feels legit and it hasn’t rubbed through or frayed after decent use. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Easy to recommend if you need a reliable front placard

Chest placard
I grabbed this to swap between rigs and it’s been way easier than swapping individual pouches. The quick-release buckles make it fast to get on/off and the hook backing keeps it secure. Love that there’s room for mags plus a couple extra tools without overstuffing. Pretty happy with how it integrates with my other gear.

Tact placard
feels way more rugged than cheap panels I’ve used before. Holds my rifle mags and radio without things getting jammed, and the admin pouch helps keep smaller stuff in reach. Didn’t have to fight to get it attached, which normally sucks. Worth throwing on your carrier if you want more gear at your fingertips.
