All orders will be paid for and charged at the time of order. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site, or any sites, pages or tools linked to this site. We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time, and such changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the site. Each time you use the site, you should review the current terms and conditions. Your continued use of the site will indicate your acceptance of the current terms and conditions; however, any material change to these terms and conditions after your last usage of the site will not be applied retroactively.
Armor Policy
Purchaser is solely responsible for complying with all federal, state and local statues, ordinances or laws regarding body armor. Purchaser assumes all responsibility for their body armor purchases. Shellback Tactical LLC assumes no responsibility for body armor purchases made in violation of federal, state or local laws. Shellback Tactical LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders.
With any armor purchase from Shellback Tactical LLC, you are confirming and stating that you are a legal adult (18 years or older) and not a convicted felon. We do not promote nor condone the selling of body armor to minors or felons, this is illegal by federal law.
If for any reason law enforcement officials need information to prosecute a person for owning body armor, we will share this information with law enforcement officials. By purchasing any of the items that we sell you are confirming that you have no intent to use that item(s) in a way that would violate federal, state or local laws.
With any purchase you confirm and attest the following:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are legally allowed to purchase the specified item in your state
- You are legally allowed to possess the specified item in your state
- You are not a convicted felon
- You are not purchasing the item on behalf of someone else in order to avoid complying with federal, state or local law
- You are not exporting the item outside of the United States
Armor Shipping Policy
As required by law - Shellback Tactical LLC can NOT ship armor items to New York or Connecticut unless one of the following conditions are met.
- Item is shipping directly to military, law enforcement or public safety address
- Purchaser is employed in an eligible profession and provides credentials
- Military
- Law Enforcement
- Public Safety
Armor Return Policy
All body armor sales are final. Body armor includes but is not limited to soft armor, hard armor plates and helmets. These items cannot be returned as Shellback Tactical LLC no longer has chain of custody of the item and cannot guarantee the ballistic integrity.
US Export Regulations
Many armor items fall under jurisdiction of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and are subject to the export control laws of the federal government. Export or re-transfer of armor by any means to any foreign end user or for any other end use, whether in the US or abroad without written approval of the US Department of Commerce or Department of State is prohibited.
The sale, transfer, transportation, or shipment outside of the US of any product prohibited or restricted for export without complying with US export control laws and regulations, including proper export licensing, documentation or authorization, is strictly prohibited and may result in civil penalties and/or constitute a federal crime. Shellback Tactical LLC will not engage in any transaction that requires the illegal export of any products and will not assist directly or indirectly with the illegal export or re-export of any products.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including but not limited to text, graphics or code is owned by Shellback Tactical LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other laws. The entire site is protected as a collective work under the United States and other copyright laws, and is the property of Shellback Tactical LLC. The collective work includes content that is licensed to Shellback Tactical LLC. Permission is granted to electronically copy and print hard copy portions of this site for the sole purpose of placing an order of Shellback Tactical LLC products. Any other use, including but not limited to the reproduction, distribution, display or transmission of the content of this site is strictly prohibited, unless authorized by Shellback Tactical LLC. You further agree not to change or delete any proprietary notices from materials downloaded from the site. Shellback Tactical is not responsible for printing or typographical errors. Prices, policies, and availability are subject to change without notice.
Limitation of Liability
Shellback Tactical LLC and its officers, directors and employees shall not be liable for any lost profits, lost revenue, loss of use or any special, indirect, exemplary, incidental or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, this site, the materials on this site or the products purchased on this site, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, even if Shellback Tactical LLC has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Orders and Errors
Our acknowledgement of an order means that your order request has been received; it does not mean that your order has been accepted or shipped or that the price or availability of an item has been confirmed. We strive to describe and display our products accurately on the Site. Despite these efforts, a small number of items on the site may be mispriced, described inaccurately, or unavailable, and we may experience delays in updating information on the site and in our advertising on other sites. As a result, we cannot and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information, including prices, product images, specifications, availability, and services. We reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice. We apologize for any inconvenience. As part of our shipping procedures, we verify the availability and the price before an item is shipped. If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, if the item is no longer available, or if we determine that there were inaccuracies in our product information, we will contact you to see how you would like to proceed. Shellback Tactical LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Shellback Tactical shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price – please allow 2 to 5 business days for your credit card issuing bank to release the credit.
